Job Overview
As General Manager Technology and Transformation (Grade 0041), you will provide strategic leadership across digital infrastructure, transformation programmes, and regional service improvement initiatives. This permanent part-time role requires a highly experienced leader with strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and change management capabilities.
This opportunity is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement regional technology and transformation strategies aligned with national HSE priorities
- Oversee digital innovation, ICT governance, and service modernisation programmes
- Drive performance improvement initiatives across healthcare services
- Manage multi-disciplinary teams and complex stakeholder environments
- Ensure robust financial oversight, compliance, and risk management frameworks
- Support strategic planning and capital investment programmes
- Represent the region at national forums and governance structures
- Travel to regional sites as required to support operational delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Significant senior management experience in healthcare, ICT, or transformation leadership
- Proven track record in leading large-scale organisational change programmes
- Strong financial management and governance expertise
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

- Full driving licence and access to own transport (essential)
