Job Overview
This Support Worker Disability Services role in Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support to individuals with disabilities in line with care plans
- Assist service users with daily living activities including personal care where required
- Promote independence, dignity, and social inclusion
- Support individuals in community participation and recreational activities
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with organisational policies
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in healthcare, social care, or disability services
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to person-centred care and safeguarding principles
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as required
