Role Overview

As the Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) for the Day Care Unit at Ely Hospital, you will:

• Support delivery of the Scheduled Care Waiting List Plan 2025
• Oversee nursing operations and quality of care in the Day Care Unit (endoscopy & minor ops)
• Collaborate closely with perioperative services at Wexford General Hospital to optimise resource use

• Day-to-day oversight of clinical, managerial, and administrative activities
• Ensuring continuous professional development among nursing staff

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you must have:

1. Registration & Experience
   • Registered, or eligible to register, with NMBI
   • Minimum 5 years post-registration experience, including at least 2 years in this or a related speciality
2. Skills & Abilities
   • Proven clinical, managerial, and administrative capability
   • Evidence of continuous professional development
   • High standard of suitability for this leadership role
