Job Overview
St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse General Dublin professional to join its Acute Hospital Services team in Dublin South. This permanent wholetime position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality oncology care within a leading specialist network.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will deliver safe, patient-centred nursing care while supporting service excellence across the radiation oncology pathway.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high standards of evidence-based nursing care in an acute oncology setting
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to clinical changes
- Administer medications and treatments in line with hospital protocols
- Collaborate effectively with medical, allied health and support teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Support infection prevention and control standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registration as a General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
- Experience in an acute hospital environment desirable
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
The salary scale for this position is as follows: €37,788 – €56,032 (LS)
