Children’s Health Ireland is seeking experienced clinicians for Senior Physiotherapist roles in Paediatric Neurosciences (Campaign 96023). This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly specialised, multidisciplinary team delivering advanced care to children and young people with complex neurological conditions.
The Senior Physiotherapist will play a pivotal role in assessment, treatment planning, and service development across paediatric neurosciences, contributing to high-quality, evidence-based care within a leading national paediatric healthcare organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced physiotherapy assessment and intervention for children with neurological conditions.
- Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary paediatric neurosciences teams.
- Support discharge planning and continuity of care pathways.
- Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapy staff and students.
- Participate in service evaluation, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
- Registration with CORU (or eligibility for registration).
- Significant post-qualification clinical experience, including paediatric and neurological practice.
- Demonstrated experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale: €64,551 – €76,007 per annum (aligned with Senior Physiotherapist Grade 3158 scale points).
Working Hours: Wholetime, Specified Purpose contract.
