The Attendant/Aide (Freastalaí/Sainchabhróir) role with HSE Mid West offers a valuable opportunity to support frontline healthcare services across Limerick and the wider Mid West region. Key Responsibilities
- Provide support services to clinical and care staff in acute and community settings
- Assist with patient movement and general ward or service area duties
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised environment in line with infection control standards
- Support service users with non-clinical daily living needs where required
- Transport equipment, supplies and documentation as directed
- Adhere to health and safety policies and HSE operational procedures
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Fluent English (essential)
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic healthcare setting
- Previous experience in a healthcare or support role is desirable but not essential
- Commitment to patient dignity, safety and quality service delivery
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary: €35,482 – €39,825 per annum
