Job Overview
The Senior Occupational Therapist Ennis position offers an exciting opportunity to join Corlann Services in Ennis, Co. Clare. This permanent wholetime role is based within the HSE Mid West region and plays a vital part in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to service users.
You will work as a senior clinician, providing leadership, specialist assessment, and therapeutic intervention while supporting multidisciplinary collaboration and service development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced occupational therapy assessment and intervention services.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to service user needs.
- Lead and support junior staff and students within the occupational therapy team.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and care planning.
- Contribute to service planning, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with HSE standards.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and best practice guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with CORU as an Occupational Therapist.
- Significant post-qualification clinical experience.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
The salary scale for this Senior Occupational Therapist Ennis role ranges from €64,551 to €76,007 per annum, aligned with the Occupational Therapist – Senior Grade (3301) pay scale. Placement on the scale will be determined in accordance with HSE guidelines and relevant experience.
