Job Overview
The Senior Dietitian Finglas CDNT Dublin role offers an excellent opportunity to join a Children’s Disability Network Team within HSE Dublin and North East. This permanent wholetime position involves delivering high-quality, family-centred dietetic services to children and young people with complex needs.
As a senior clinician, you will provide specialist nutritional assessment and intervention, contribute to multidisciplinary team planning, and support best practice standards across the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nutritional assessment and evidence-based dietetic intervention for children with complex disabilities.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary Children’s Disability Network Team.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans in partnership with families and carers.
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development initiatives.
- Supervise and support junior staff and students where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with HSE policies and professional standards.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and interagency collaboration.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualification recognised by CORU for registration as a Dietitian.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with CORU.
- Significant post-qualification experience, including relevant paediatric or disability services experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication, organisational, and clinical reasoning skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale: €64,551 – €76,007 per annum (Senior Dietitian Grade 3395 scale).

Location & Employer Information
This position is based at Finglas CDNT, Ashgrove House, Kempton Estate, Navan Road, Dublin 7, within the HSE Dublin and North East health region (covering North Dublin, Meath, Louth, Cavan, and Monaghan).
The role forms part of a community-based Children’s Disability Network Team delivering integrated, family-centred supports to children and young people.
