Job Overview
The Occupational Therapy Assistant Naas position (Grade 6505) offers an excellent opportunity to join healthcare services in Co. Kildare under HSE Dublin and Midlands. This permanent wholetime role supports Occupational Therapists in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across clinical settings.
You will play a key role in assisting patients to achieve greater independence and improved quality of life through therapeutic programmes and direct care support.
Key Responsibilities
- • Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individual care and therapy plans.
- • Provide direct support and supervision to patients during therapeutic activities.
- • Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and clinical environments.
- • Support patient mobility, daily living skills, and rehabilitation exercises.
- • Maintain accurate records in line with HSE documentation standards.
- • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and infection control procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- • Demonstrated depth and breadth of recent experience providing direct patient care.
- • Evidence of working within a Health or Social Care setting.
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- • Commitment to delivering high standards of patient-centred care.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale (Grade 6505): €36,288 – €45,484 per annum (incremental scale: €36,288, €37,752, €39,294, €39,704, €40,711, €41,582, €42,836, €44,136, €45,484).
This is a Permanent Wholetime position within HSE Dublin and Midlands. Standard HSE benefits apply, including annual leave entitlement, public sector pension scheme, and structured incremental salary progression.
