This Consultant Palliative Medicine Naas Hospital opportunity offers an exceptional leadership role across Naas General Hospital and St. Brigid’s Hospice Kildare. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering specialist palliative care services, providing expert clinical guidance, and supporting multidisciplinary teams to ensure compassionate, patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist consultant-led palliative medicine services across hospital and hospice settings
- Lead and support multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and evidence-based practices
- Participate in on-call and service rota commitments as required
- Contribute to service planning, quality improvement, and governance initiatives
- Provide education, mentorship, and training to junior medical staff and allied professionals
- Engage in audit, research, and continuous professional development
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council of Ireland in Palliative Medicine
- Demonstrated experience in consultant-level palliative care practice
- Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
- Commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and service development
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
