Job Overview

This Occupational Therapist Staff Grade role offers an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team within HSE South West, supporting services across Kerry and Cork. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and rehabilitation services.

This is a permanent, wholetime position suited to both HSE and non-HSE applicants seeking to develop their career within a supportive and progressive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care
  • Support patients in achieving independence in daily living activities
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with CORU (or eligibility to register)
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Previous clinical experience desirable but not essential

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Salary scale: €45,063 – €64,424 (LSI applicable)

Permanent wholetime position with standard HSE working hours
