An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Occupational Therapist within primary and social care services across Sligo, Leitrim, and Donegal. Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced occupational therapy assessment and intervention across assigned clinical areas
- Deliver evidence-based care to adults, older persons, and paediatric service users
- Support rehabilitation, reablement, and falls prevention programmes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across primary and social care services
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and contribute to service development
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and CPD activities
- Manage caseloads effectively while maintaining high clinical standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with CORU (or eligibility for registration)
- Significant post-qualification experience relevant to the role
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment and evidence-based practice
- Experience across primary care and/or social care services
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
- Evidence of continuous professional development relevant to the clinical area
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale: €64,551 – €76,007 per annum (aligned with HSE Senior Occupational Therapist pay scale)
Contract Type: Permanent Wholetime and Specified Purpose Wholetime

Working Hours: Standard HSE full-time hours (35 hours per week)
