Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to children in community and home settings
- Support families with clinical and emotional care needs
- Administer medications and treatments in line with clinical guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain accurate patient records and care documentation
- Participate in care planning and review meetings
- Promote best practice in paediatric palliative care
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse with NMBI registration
- Experience in paediatric, community, or palliative care desirable
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Full clean driving licence (community-based role requirement)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to compassionate, family-centred care
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary is aligned with the approved Staff Nurse pay scale, ranging from €37,788 to €56,032 (including Long Service Increment). This is a Specified Purpose Wholetime contract.
