This Clinical Nurse Manager 2 role in addiction services offers a rewarding leadership opportunity within Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering integrated alcohol and drug services across acute care settings. Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership within alcohol and drug services in the acute hospital setting
- Coordinate comprehensive assessments and care planning for service users
- Support the delivery of integrated addiction services across healthcare settings
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing and multidisciplinary staff
- Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical governance
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse with active registration with NMBI
- Minimum experience required for Clinical Nurse Manager 2 grade
- Demonstrated experience in addiction or alcohol services desirable
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Knowledge of clinical governance and patient safety standards
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary: €62,078 – €78,443 (LSI applicable)
This is a permanent whole-time position offering a structured HSE salary scale with incremental progression. Benefits include pension scheme, annual leave entitlement, and ongoing professional development opportunities. Working hours will align with standard HSE full-time contracts.
