Job Overview

The Technology and Transformation team within the Health Service Executive is seeking a skilled SAP Trainer to support the SAP Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Payroll and HR Systems. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to large-scale digital transformation initiatives while delivering high-quality training across a national user base. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing system knowledge and user capability across HSE services.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver structured SAP training programmes to a diverse range of users across the organisation
Develop and maintain high-quality training materials and documentation
Provide expert guidance on SAP OM/PA modules and HR/Payroll functionalities
Support system users in understanding integration points within SAP systems
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and solutions
Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve content delivery
Contribute to the overall SAP CoE strategy and knowledge sharing initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

Significant experience working with SAP OM/PA modules
Strong understanding of SAP HR and Payroll module functionality and integrations
Proven experience delivering training to varied user groups
Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality training materials
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Salary Scale: €57,898 – €70,734 (including Long Service Increments)
Permanent Wholetime position

Location & Employer Information

This is a national role within the Health Service Executive, with multiple base locations available including Drogheda, Dublin, Kells, Sligo, Manorhamilton, Cork, Kilkenny, Galway, Limerick, Tullamore, Kerry, Ardee, and Clonmel. The role supports the HSE Technology and Transformation team, contributing to the delivery of modern, efficient healthcare systems across Ireland.
