Job Overview
The Social Care Worker will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and support to service users within Corlann Disability Services. The role focuses on empowering individuals, promoting independence, and supporting daily living activities in a safe and respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs
- Assist service users with daily living activities and personal care where required
- Promote independence, inclusion, and social participation
- Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational standards
- Support behavioural and emotional needs in a respectful and professional manner
- Ensure a safe, secure, and supportive environment at all times
- Engage with families and stakeholders to support holistic care delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Social Care or related discipline
- Experience working in disability services or a similar care environment is desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to person-centred care and safeguarding principles
- Flexibility to work shifts as required
- Full driving licence may be advantageous
