Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy assessments and interventions.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans for patients.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams across HSE Mid West services.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with HSE policies and professional standards.
- Support patients with communication, speech, language, voice, and swallowing difficulties.
- Participate in service development, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical audits.
- Promote best practice and evidence-based clinical care.
- Engage in continuing professional development and mandatory training requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualification recognised by CORU for Speech and Language Therapy registration.
- Eligible for registration with CORU as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Commitment to patient-centred care and professional development.
- Previous clinical experience in healthcare settings is desirable.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary will be aligned with HSE salary scales for Speech and Language Therapist Grade 336Y positions.
