Job Overview
As a Care Supervisor with Bluebird Care Sligo, you will play a central role in supporting homecare operations throughout the Sligo and Mayo region. The role combines client care oversight, staff mentoring, compliance monitoring, and care plan management to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular care supervision visits across client homes in Sligo and Mayo
- Develop, review, and update client care plans in line with individual care needs
- Ensure care delivery meets HCCI, ISO, franchise standards, local policies, and HSE requirements
- Maintain accurate supervision records and administrative documentation
- Mentor, support, and supervise healthcare assistants and caregivers
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, and care teams
- Participate in care activities as part of the supervision process
- Escalate and report clinical concerns to senior management where appropriate
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Essential: QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare, Social Care, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within home care, healthcare, or a senior care environment
- Strong computer literacy and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to supervise and support large caregiving teams effectively
- Full clean driving licence required
- Desirable: QQI Level 6 Supervisory qualification
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary for this Care Supervisor position starts from €35,000 per year, with flexibility for negotiation depending on previous experience and qualifications.
