About the Role
As Chef de Partie at Clayton Hotel Sligo, you will work alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen hygiene. You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of a busy hotel kitchen, taking ownership of your section while supporting the wider brigade.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen and daily service.
- Monitor food quality and hygiene standards in line with direction from department managers.
- Maintain strict compliance with HACCP regulations at all times.
- Support fellow kitchen staff in applying appropriate food preparation and storage hygiene systems.
- Uphold the standards of excellence and efficiency set by the Head Chef.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a hotel kitchen or similar high-volume environment.
- A genuine passion for food and culinary excellence.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, team-focused approach.
- Ability to perform under pressure during busy service periods.
- Sound working knowledge of HACCP procedures and food safety regulations.
