Sligo Park Hotel is hiring Leisure Club Assistants for both full-time and part-time positions in Sligo, County Sligo. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified lifeguards and swim assist professionals to join a well-established hospitality and leisure team, contributing directly to the health, safety, and enjoyment of hotel guests and members.
The Role
As a Leisure Club Assistant at Sligo Park Hotel, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and professionally managed pool and leisure environment. You will work across a range of roster schedules, supporting the day-to-day operations of the hotel’s leisure facilities and delivering an excellent experience for all users.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise pool and leisure club areas, ensuring the safety of all guests and members at all times.
- Deliver swim assist support in line with your qualifications and hotel standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and operational readiness of all leisure facilities.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and incidents.
- Provide a friendly, professional point of contact for guests using the leisure club.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times.
- Support broader leisure club operations as directed by management.
Requirements
- Current, up-to-date Lifeguard qualification (required).
- Current, up-to-date Swim Assist qualification (required).
- Minimum one year of lifeguard or swim assistant experience.
- Flexibility to work across all shifts and varied roster schedules.
- Strong IT skills and a good working knowledge of leisure club practices.
- Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written.
- Must be authorised to work in Ireland.

Location
