Corlann (BOCSI) is recruiting a Social Care Worker for its Disability Services in Ennis, Co. Clare. This is a permanent, whole-time position with a Section 38 organisation providing funded community disability supports in the HSE Mid West region.
About the Role
As a Social Care Worker within Corlann’s disability services, you will provide person-centred care and support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling and meaningful lives in their communities. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the planning, delivery, and review of supports tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with disabilities in line with individual care and support plans.
- Assist service users to participate actively in their communities and to exercise choice and independence in daily life.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of individual support plans.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external agencies to ensure continuity and consistency of care.
- Uphold the rights, dignity, and privacy of all individuals supported by the service.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a recognised qualification in Social Care or a related discipline at the appropriate level. Relevant experience in disability services is desirable. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to person-centred values and an ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Salary
€41,260 – €56,717 per annum (HSE Social Care Worker (With Qualification) scale, 12-point scale, plus one LSI of €57,789 where applicable), based on the HSE Consolidated Salary Scales effective 1 June 2026.
