Grade VII Senior Health Promotion Officer — National Screening Service
The National Screening Service (NSS) is recruiting a Grade VII Senior Health Promotion Officer based at Kings Inn Building, 200 Parnell Street, Dublin 1. This is a permanent, whole-time post offering a senior leadership role within Public Health at the heart of Ireland’s national screening infrastructure.

About the Role
The Senior Health Promotion Officer will operate at Grade VII level within the Public Health function of the National Screening Service. The NSS designs and delivers Ireland’s population-based screening programmes, and this role sits at a senior level within a team focused on health equity, promotion strategy, and public engagement.
A panel may be formed from this campaign for Grade VII Senior Health Promotion Officer within Public Health, NSS, from which permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full-time and part-time duration may be filled.

Salary
€61,219 – €74,251 per annum (HSE Grade VII Clerical scale, 9-point incremental scale, plus 2 LSIs at €76,912 and €79,583 where applicable). Based on the HSE Consolidated Salary Scales effective 1 June 2026.
Location
Kings Inn Building, 200 Parnell Street, Dublin 1. The post is based within the National Screening Service’s national headquarters, positioning the successful candidate at the centre of Ireland’s screening programme infrastructure. The NSS operates nationally, and the Dublin 1 base reflects the organisation’s national reach and strategic function within Public Health.
