The Cheshire Foundation in Ireland is recruiting a Care Support Worker for Abbey View Cheshire in Sligo. About the Role
As a Care Support Worker at Abbey View Cheshire, you will provide person-centred support to residents in their daily lives, helping to maintain their independence and quality of life. The Cheshire Foundation in Ireland is a well-established Section 39 organisation delivering residential and community-based services to people with complex physical disabilities across Ireland. This role is based at the Sligo residential service and offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference to the people you support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and daily living support to residents in a respectful and person-centred manner
- Assist with mobility, hygiene, mealtimes, and other activities of daily living as required
- Support residents to engage in meaningful activities and community inclusion
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and families to deliver high-quality care
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements
- Uphold the rights, dignity, and privacy of each individual in your care
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines

Salary
Competitive pay. The Cheshire Foundation in Ireland is a Section 39 organisation and is not bound by HSE consolidated pay scales. Salary details will be confirmed on application. Pay is pro-rata for 22 hours per week.

Abbey View Cheshire, Sligo, Co. Sligo. Abbey View is a residential service providing high-quality support to adults with physical disabilities in the HSE West and North West region. The service operates in a community-integrated setting with a strong emphasis on resident wellbeing and independence.
