Overview:
The Office of Public Works (OPW), Ireland’s leading agency in flood risk management, coastal change assessment, and flood relief initiatives, is seeking Engineer Grade III (Civil) professionals to support its nationwide flood risk management programme. A panel will be formed from this competition to fill current and future vacancies across multiple OPW offices throughout the country.
Role & Responsibilities:
As an Engineer Grade III (Civil), you will contribute to strategic flood risk management projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and implement effective flood prevention and mitigation strategies. You’ll have the opportunity to shape Ireland’s resilience against flooding and coastal changes, playing a pivotal role in ensuring public safety, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure stability.
