A senior Assistant National Director job is now available with the Health Service Executive’s Office of the Chief People Officer, based at Dr Steevens’ Hospital, Dublin 8. Role Overview
The Assistant National Director, Corporate Business Partner for National Human Resources, will work closely with the Chief People Officer to shape and deliver strategic HR direction across the HSE. The successful candidate will act as a senior business partner, influencing workforce policy, organisational development, and people strategy at a national level. One permanent, whole-time post is available, with the possibility of a panel being formed to fill further permanent and specified purpose vacancies — full-time or part-time — within the Office of the Chief People Officer.

Salary and Contract
€123,645 – €150,752 per annum (HSE Assistant National Director (Support) scale, 6-point scale), based on the HSE Consolidated Salary Scales effective 1 June 2026. Both permanent whole-time and specified purpose whole-time posts may be filled from this campaign, as well as part-time and worksharing arrangements on a pro-rata basis.
Location
The post holder will be based at Dr Steevens’ Hospital, Dublin 8, within the Office of the Chief People Officer, National Human Resources. This central Dublin location places the role at the operational and strategic core of HSE workforce management, with national reach across all HSE divisions and services.
