Requirements

  • Proven track record in a senior communications role within a complex or challenging environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading communications through periods of organisational change or restructuring.
  • Strong media relations and public affairs expertise, including narrative development and press engagement.
  • Skilled stakeholder diplomat with experience managing relationships across public sector, government, and voluntary sector bodies.
  • Extensive experience managing strategic projects, budgets, and external agency partnerships.

Salary and Contract

This is a permanent, whole-time post remunerated at the Grade VII (Clerical) scale: €60,613 – €73,516 per annum (9-point scale), plus long-service increments of €76,151 and €78,795 where applicable. Salary is based on the HSE Consolidated Salary Scales effective 1 February 2026 (grade code 0582).

Location

This role is based at the Central Remedial Clinic, Clontarf, Dublin. The CRC is a national leader in disability services, operating across multiple sites and serving a wide geographic catchment. The Communications Manager will be at the centre of the organisation’s national profile, working closely with the senior leadership team to advance its public presence and strategic positioning.
