HSE Mid West is recruiting Attendant Aides to support the delivery of high-quality household and support services within Mental Health Services across County Clare. This role plays a vital part in maintaining safe, hygienic, and supportive environments for service users and staff.
Table of Contents
Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality household services across designated facilities
• Maintain cleaning and hygiene standards in line with national policies
• Support food handling and catering duties where required
• Adhere strictly to Infection Prevention and Control guidelines
• Ensure compliance with HIQA Hygiene Standards
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Promote a safe and respectful environment for service users
Requirements
• Ability to carry out household and cleaning duties to a high standard
• Knowledge of hygiene, infection control, and food safety practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility to work across various locations as required
• Experience in a healthcare or similar environment is desirable

• Grade: Attendant – Aide 6415
• Salary: In line with HSE consolidated pay scales (August 2025)
