An excellent opportunity has arisen for Attendant Aides to join services across Ennis, Kilrush, North Clare and Shannon. This role supports the delivery of high-quality household services within Mid West Mental Health Services, ensuring safe, hygienic and responsive environments for service users.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality household and domestic services across designated facilities
• Maintain hygiene standards in line with National Infection Control and HIQA requirements
• Follow food handling legislation and local policies where applicable
• Ensure safe use of cleaning equipment and materials
• Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team
• Adhere to all Health Service Executive policies and procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of hygiene, cleanliness and infection control standards
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility to work across different locations as required
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Grade: Attendant – Aide (6415)
• Salary: In line with Health Sector Consolidated Salary Scales (effective 1 August 2025)
• Contract options: Fixed Term Whole-time, Permanent Whole-time, Specified Purpose Part-time, Fixed Term Part-time
