This campaign is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants and offers long-term career security within Ireland’s public health service.
Key Responsibilities
• Support service users with daily living activities in line with individual care plans
• Promote independence, social inclusion, and personal development
• Assist with personal care while maintaining dignity and respect
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Uphold HSE policies, safeguarding standards, and infection control guidelines
• Engage positively with families, carers, and community supports
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant Care Assistant / Healthcare Support qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities (desirable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to work across community-based settings
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

• Salary in line with HSE Consolidated Pay Scales for Care Assistant (Disability Services), effective 1 August 2025
