St. Raphael’s Centre, Youghal is seeking a Care Assistant (Intellectual Disability) to join its Disability Services team. This permanent whole-time role supports adults with intellectual disabilities to live fulfilling, person-centred lives within a residential setting. The position is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants.

Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day personal care and support to service users
• Promote independence, dignity, and choice in line with individual care plans
• Support social, recreational, and developmental activities
• Maintain accurate care records and reports
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Uphold HSE policies, safeguarding, and health & safety standards
Requirements
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support, Nursing Studies, or equivalent (or willingness to work towards)
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible shift patterns
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
