An excellent senior opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Engineering Technician (Chief) with the Health Service Executive in the Dublin and Midlands region. This permanent, whole-time role is central to the management, safety, and lifecycle governance of medical equipment across multiple counties.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee all aspects of medical equipment management
• Specification development, tender evaluation, and equipment selection
• Commissioning, maintenance, and decommissioning of medical devices
• Deliver and coordinate medical equipment user training programmes
• Ensure compliance with national standards and HSE policies
• Support clinical services through expert technical guidance
• Travel across the Dublin and Midlands region as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in clinical engineering services
• Proven experience in medical equipment lifecycle management
• Extensive experience delivering medical equipment user training
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Access to appropriate transport

• Salary: In line with HSE Consolidated Salary Scales (August 2025)
