Key Responsibilities
• Provide consultant-level psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for adults with mental health disorders
• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning
• Deliver clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management within services
• Supervise and support NCHDs and other clinical staff
• Contribute to service development, policy implementation, and audit activities
• Engage in on-call and emergency psychiatric services as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration (or eligibility for registration) on the Specialist Division of the Medical Council of Ireland in Psychiatry
• Recognised postgraduate qualification in General Adult Psychiatry
• Demonstrated experience at consultant or senior specialist level
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical governance skills
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
