Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive consultant-level vascular surgical services
• Provide elective and emergency vascular care in line with national standards
• Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Supervise and train NCHDs and other clinical staff
• Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement
• Support service planning and development within the vascular unit
• Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration as a Specialist in Vascular Surgery on the Specialist Division of the Medical Council of Ireland
• Fellowship or equivalent specialist qualification
• Extensive consultant-level experience in vascular surgery
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Commitment to continuous professional development and clinical excellence

• Salary in line with HSE Consultant Grade 1099 pay scales (August 2025 consolidated rates)
