Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive general dental care to eligible patients
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions
• Deliver preventative and restorative dental treatments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
• Work collaboratively with dental nurses and wider primary care teams
• Adhere to HSE clinical governance and infection control standards
• Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Irish Dental Council
• Recognised primary dental qualification
• Competence in general dentistry across all age groups
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to continuous professional development
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Grade: Dental Surgeon – General (Grade Code 1597)
• Salary Scale: €74,080 – €107,389 per annum (pro-rata for part-time), in line with HSE consolidated salary scales effective 1 August 2025
• Contract Type: Permanent Part-time and Permanent Wholetime options available
