Key Responsibilities
• Provide senior clinical leadership within HSE dental services
• Deliver high-quality diagnostic and treatment services to patients
• Lead planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement of dental services
• Supervise and support dental surgeons and wider oral health teams
• Contribute to service governance, quality assurance, and audit
• Engage with multidisciplinary and community stakeholders
• Support regional and national oral health initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration as a Dental Surgeon with the Irish Dental Council
• Significant post-qualification clinical experience in dentistry
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience
• Strong knowledge of public dental health services
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary Scale (Grade 197X – Principal Dental Surgeon):
€112,613 – €136,720 per annum (LSIs apply)
