Lidl is seeking a Deputy Store Manager for its store at Cranmore Road, Sligo. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to step into a leadership role with one of Ireland’s leading grocery retailers, supporting daily operations and driving performance across a busy retail environment.
Role Overview
As Deputy Store Manager, you will work alongside the Store Manager to lead and develop the store team, uphold Lidl’s operational standards, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role offers a clear path for career progression within a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store
- Drive a target-focused approach to key performance indicators
- Manage, motivate, and develop the store team
- Maintain excellent standards of shop floor presentation
- Ensure adequate stock levels are consistently maintained
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Requirements
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years’ management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Full, clean driving licence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shift patterns
- A passion for hitting targets, meeting deadlines, and working in a varied environment
- Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager is an advantage but not essential
Salary & Benefits

- €51,000 rising to €60,000 after 3 years

Location
This position is based at Lidl’s store on Cranmore Road, Sligo — a well-established location serving the Sligo community. The role is fully on-site and involves working across varying shift patterns as required by store operations.
