The Driver Doctor on Call Sligo position (Ref: PC0052026) supports urgent and community medical services across Donegal, Leitrim, and Sligo. Key Responsibilities
• Provide safe and efficient transport for doctors on call
• Support medical staff during emergency and urgent call-outs
• Maintain vehicle safety, cleanliness and readiness
• Ensure compliance with road safety and HSE policies
• Assist with logistical tasks related to patient and client care
• Maintain accurate records as required
• Represent the service professionally at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Full clean driving licence (appropriate category)
- Strong knowledge of local road networks in Sligo, Donegal and Leitrim
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility to work unsocial hours including nights and weekends
- Previous experience in healthcare or emergency support (desirable)
