Job Overview
This Electronic Health Record (EHR) Training Lead – Grade VII role offers a senior leadership opportunity to shape and deliver EHR training across paediatric healthcare services in Dublin. You will lead the design, coordination, and implementation of large-scale EHR training programmes, supporting clinical and non-clinical staff through digital transformation initiatives.
This is a pivotal role for professionals with strong health informatics, ICT training, or clinical systems experience who are passionate about digital healthcare enablement.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development and delivery of EHR training strategies and programmes
• Manage EHR training resources, schedules, and learning materials
• Collaborate with clinical, ICT, and operational stakeholders to align training with service needs
• Support system go-live activities, upgrades, and optimisation initiatives
• Monitor training effectiveness and implement continuous improvement measures
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to training teams and super-users
• Ensure training governance, documentation, and reporting standards are met
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant third-level qualification in Health Informatics, ICT, Education, or a related discipline
• Significant experience delivering or managing EHR / clinical system training programmes
• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and digital health systems
• Proven leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organisational abilities
• Experience working within Irish healthcare or public sector environments (desirable)
