Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking an Enhanced/Staff Nurse (Disability Services) to join its Clarin Services team in Clarinbridge, Co. Galway. This is a permanent, whole-time position providing high-quality, person-centred nursing care to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a community-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care tailored to individual needs
• Support individuals with intellectual disabilities to achieve maximum independence
• Participate in the development and implementation of individualised care plans
• Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical records
• Work collaboratively with families, carers, and multidisciplinary colleagues
• Promote safeguarding, dignity, and rights of service users at all times
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and service development
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration as a Nurse on the NMBI Register (General or Intellectual Disability Division)
• Experience or strong interest in disability services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to person-centred care and positive behaviour support
• Full driving licence desirable
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Grade: Staff Nurse – General (Grade Code 2135)
• Salary: In line with Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales (Section 38), effective from 1 August 2025
• Contract: Permanent, Whole-time
• Hours: 78 hours per fortnight
