Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate specialist clinical knowledge and experience in dermatology nursing within an acute or community setting
• Undertake comprehensive dermatology assessments, including wound and skin care management
• Support and contribute to dermatology nurse-led clinics in line with national and local clinical pathways
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support service delivery and development
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audit, and data collection to support clinical governance
• Develop and deliver dermatology-related education for staff, patients, and carers


Required Skills & Qualifications

• Registration as a Nurse on the NMBI register
• Relevant post-registration experience in dermatology nursing
• Evidence of competency in dermatology assessment and skin/wound care
• Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
• Experience in education, audit, or service improvement is desirable
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team
