Key Responsibilities

As Clinical Nurse Manager 1, you’ll drive excellence in patient care while developing your leadership capabilities:

Clinical Leadership

  • Oversee daily ward operations ensuring optimal patient outcomes
  • Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning initiatives
  • Maintain clinical governance standards and quality assurance protocols
  • Champion evidence-based nursing practice and continuous improvement

Team Management & Development

  • Supervise, mentor and support nursing staff across all grades
  • Coordinate staff scheduling and resource allocation

Quality & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures and clinical guidelines

Essential Requirements

Professional Qualifications

  • Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) as a Registered General Nurse
  • Minimum 5 years post-registration nursing experience
  • Previous experience in acute hospital setting essential
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare
