The Clinical Nurse Manager 1 will play a key role in service delivery, team leadership, and the ongoing development of nursing standards within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage nursing staff within the assigned clinical area
• Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care
• Support staff development, supervision, and performance management
• Implement HSE policies, clinical guidelines, and best practice standards
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
• Manage resources effectively, including rostering and staffing levels
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered Nurse on the NMBI Register
• Minimum post-registration experience as per HSE criteria
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making ability
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary scale: €56,642 – €66,705 per annum (Clinical Nurse Manager 1, point 1–8, effective 1 August 2025)
• Contract type: Permanent whole-time
