Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage nursing teams within the medical department
• Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, evidence-based patient care
• Support clinical governance, quality assurance, and risk management
• Promote professional development and supervision of nursing staff
• Manage resources, staffing, and rostering effectively
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Uphold HSE policies, procedures, and professional standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration as a General Nurse on the NMBI register
• Minimum post-registration experience as outlined in the official Job Specification
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
• Strong clinical knowledge in medical nursing practice
• Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making abilities
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary in line with HSE Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (General) payscale (€56,642 – €66,705 gross per annum, point dependent)
