Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership within the nursing team
- Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care services
- Manage staff performance, development, and workforce planning
- Support clinical governance, risk management, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Lead service development and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to HSE policies, procedures, and national standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse with active registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Significant post-registration nursing experience, including management experience
- Proven leadership and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated experience in clinical governance and quality improvement
- Relevant postgraduate qualification (desirable)
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary scale: €71,432 – €80,671 per annum (incremental scale)
Permanent Wholetime position
