This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced mental health nurse to provide strategic and clinical leadership across community mental health services in Dublin North. The Clinical Nurse Manager 3 (Mental Health) plays a pivotal role in service development, governance, and quality improvement within Integrated Health Areas.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic clinical leadership within community mental health services
• Lead, manage, and support multidisciplinary mental health teams
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, safe, and evidence-based care
• Contribute to service planning, development, and evaluation
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, clinical governance, and HIQA standards
• Manage resources, staffing, and service performance effectively
• Support staff development, supervision, and performance management


Required Skills & Qualifications

• Registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Significant post-registration experience in mental health services
• Demonstrable leadership and management experience at senior level
• Proven ability in service development and quality improvement
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
• Eligibility to work in Ireland


Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Salary Scale (1 Aug 2025): €70,725 – €79,872 per annum (Clinical Nurse Manager 3 – Mental Health)
