University Hospital Limerick is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Nurse Manager 3 to join its Medicine Directorate under the Health Service Executive. This specified-purpose, wholetime role offers an opportunity to lead service delivery, enhance patient care, and contribute to a high-performing acute hospital team in the Mid West region.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee nursing operations within the Medicine Directorate
• Manage staffing, rostering, and resource allocation
• Drive quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and compliance with HSE standards
• Support clinical governance and contribute to strategic planning
• Provide professional leadership, coaching, and supervision to nursing teams
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to optimise patient flow and outcomes
• Ensure adherence to legislative, policy, and professional guidelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered General Nurse with NMBI
• Minimum required post-registration nursing experience for CNM3 grade
• Proven leadership, service-management, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a dynamic acute care environment
• Experience in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement desirable

• Salary scale (from 1 August 2025): €70,725 – €79,872 per annum
