The Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist Dublin role with Central Remedial Clinic (CRC) represents an exciting opportunity to join an experienced multidisciplinary team based primarily in Clontarf.
This permanent wholetime post will provide clinical, educational and research leadership, particularly in the area of gait and movement analysis, supporting colleagues within CRC and referrers nationwide.
This opportunity is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants. The HSE is advertising this post on behalf of a publicly funded Section 38 organisation. The role is not directly employed by the HSE and terms and conditions may differ.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist clinical expertise in gait and movement analysis.
- Deliver advanced assessment and intervention planning for complex cases.
- Offer clinical guidance and support to multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Provide educational leadership and training to CRC staff and referrers nationwide.
- Evaluate, implement and disseminate evidence-based practice.
- Contribute to research initiatives and service development within specialist services.
- Maintain high standards of documentation, governance and professional practice.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
- Registration with CORU as a Physiotherapist.
- Significant post-qualification experience, including specialist expertise in gait and movement analysis.
- Demonstrated experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong clinical leadership, communication and teaching skills.
- Proven ability to evaluate and apply evidence-based practice.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
- Grade: Physiotherapist – Clinical Specialist (Grade Code 3707).
- Contract Type: Permanent Wholetime.
- Salary: In line with Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales (February 2026) for Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist grade.
