St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network is seeking a Clinical Specialist Radiation Therapist to join its expert multidisciplinary team in Dublin. This permanent wholetime role offers the opportunity to lead high-quality radiation therapy services within one of Ireland’s most advanced oncology centres. The successful candidate will contribute to service development, clinical excellence, and patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee advanced radiation therapy planning and treatment
• Lead specialist clinical practice within your designated area
• Ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based radiation therapy delivery
• Participate in MDT meetings and contribute to service improvement initiatives
• Provide guidance and mentorship to therapy staff and students
• Assist in developing clinical protocols and quality improvement processes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold regulatory compliance

Required Skills & Qualifications

• CORU registration as a Radiation Therapist
• Minimum required post-qualification experience at clinical specialist level
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced radiation therapy techniques
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-working skills
• Commitment to patient safety, service excellence, and continuous professional development

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Grade: Radiation Therapist – Clinical Specialist (3964)
Salary scale (1 August 2025):
€64,943 – €68,244 – €71,044 – €73,851 – €76,708
Permanent wholetime contract with full HSE benefits including pension, leave, and professional development supports. Standard HSE working hours apply.

Location & Employer Information

This role is based at St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network, Dublin South, within the HSE Dublin and Midlands Health Region.
The Network delivers cutting-edge radiation oncology services across multiple sites, supporting high-acuity cancer care and national treatment pathways.
