Cork University Maternity Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse/Midwife Manager 3 (Data Manager) to lead and oversee clinical data, governance and reporting systems. This permanent, whole-time leadership role sits within the Health Service Executive (HSE) South West region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data governance, reporting and clinical information management across maternity services
• Ensure compliance with national HSE guidelines and maternity safety programmes
• Oversee data quality, system integrity and accurate submission of statutory datasets
• Collaborate with clinical, midwifery and management teams to improve data-driven decision-making
• Support audits, quality improvement initiatives and regulatory reporting
• Supervise staff involved in data collection or related administrative activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Registered Midwife or Registered General Nurse with NMBI
• Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, including relevant leadership exposure
• Demonstrated experience in clinical data collection, audit, governance or system management
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary engagement and meet strict reporting deadlines
• Familiarity with HSE systems, HIPE, maternity datasets or similar platforms is highly desirable

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

• Grade: Clinical Nurse Manager 3 (233X)
• Salary Scale (effective 1 August 2025): €70,725–€79,872 per annum
• Contract: Permanent, Whole-time
