Key Responsibilities
• Support individuals with intellectual disabilities to engage in community-based activities
• Facilitate personal development, independence, and social inclusion
• Promote choice, dignity, and rights-based approaches in all aspects of care
• Work collaboratively with families, multidisciplinary teams, and community partners
• Implement individualised plans aligned with organisational policies and best practice
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant qualification in social care, health, education, or community development
• Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities (desirable)
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to person-centred and community-inclusive practice
• Full driving licence desirable due to community-based work

• Grade: Workshop Supervisor / Instructor (6425)
• Contract: Permanent part-time, pensionable
